South Derbyshire District Council provide a free household waste collection service every Saturday morning for areas that are more than five miles away from the tip.

They cannot accept bulky items such as fridges, freezers, cookers, washing machines, dryers, wardrobes, beds, three piece suites or televisions. They are also unable to accept car parts, asbestos, gas heaters and bottles, paint, fluorescent tubes and builders rubble, soil or stones.

The freighter will be available from 7am to 11am on Lower Green.
