Findern Footpaths Group are looking for new members to help the group look after the footpaths around the village of Findern; also, to support their conservation and environmental work at Cardales Meadow, including creating a wildlife pond at Cote Close Bird Sanctuary.
If you are passionate about being outdoors and have an interest in the conservation of the beautiful countryside around the village; and maintaining and improving access to these areas for all, then please do consider joining the group. Your support would be most welcome.
Currently under lockdown, the group are taking a well-earned rest but members hope they can get back to keeping the footpaths around the village clear, and planting wildflowers and plants at the Meadow and Butterfly bank sites once Spring is here and restrictions are relaxed.
So if you’re fit and would like to volunteer a couple of hours a week, or just want to find out more, then please contact Steve on 07584 671030 or Joan on 07484 217876 or email enquiries@findernfootpaths.co.uk and we will contact you.
