By now those of you who use the facilities on King George  playing field will no doubt be aware of the work that has gone on in recent months.

Firstly the protective flooring around all of the play equipment has been replaced.

Secondly new gates have been installed.  The new gate on the Willington Road entrance has been installed with a self closing mechanism to try to prevent children from being able to run straight into the road.

The Parish Council have also replaced the “Springer”.  This is designed for disabled children.
