Our new website is designed to be very easy to use and to help you find out information about what the Parish Council is working on.

We’ve worked closely with Derbyshire based website design agency Include Creative, who’s owner Carl grew up in Findern.

We’ve also produced some simple “How do I…” guides that you can use to help find answers to questions like “How do I report a broken street light?” or “When is the next Parish Council meeting?”.

It’s not always obvious or simple when it comes to council services, so our new website will point you towards services provided by South Derbyshire District Council or Derbyshire County Council when it’s not something the Parish Council can help with.

It’s early days for our new website, but over the coming week’s we’ll be inviting residents and businesses from the village to share their details with us so that we can have a directory of both events and services available online.
