As is a common theme across the country these days, traffic and speeding are frequently reported as an issue through the village.
Back in September 2017, local resident Pete Price produced a report on the traffic and speed issues through the village which he presented to the Parish Council. The report went down very well with the Councillors and was passed on to Derbyshire County Council for their viewing and potential implementation of some or all of the recommendations.
Derbyshire County Council replied via letter and their response was reported during the March 2018 Parish Council meeting.
