Willington Surgery is seeking new members for its Patient Participation Group (PPG) to represent all of the geographical areas that the surgery covers – including Findern village. They are looking for patients who have ideas on how to improve the surgery and other local health services.
All adult patients (over 16 years) are members of the PPG and are welcome to attend any meeting. Meetings are currently held remotely until meetings can resume at the Surgery. Meetings take place on the third week of each month.

The purpose of this group is patients working with the surgery to:
• Provide a channel of communication between practice staff and patients to break down barriers to communication and enable sharing of information
• Help themselves and other patients to take more responsibility for their health
• Provide practical support to the surgery
• Contribute to continuous improvement of services determined by the needs of the community
